Due to the recent much needed moisture and high humidity levels, the burn ban will be temporarily lifted. All approved open burning should be allowed if the winds will allow. If the burn ban goes back in place, we will let you all know ASAP. If you have any questions please contact Fire Chief
At the moment due to low humidity levels and dry conditions, no open burning that causes a spark or ember is allowed in the City limits of Goodland. This means no outdoor burning of yard debris or wood burning of any kind. The only burning allowed outdoors during a burn ban is the usage of burners
