Please call at least 24 hours in advance when requesting an inspection.
Inspections for the following are required:
- Foundation –
- Inspections shall be requested after poles and piers are set, trenches or basement areas are excavated and any required form erected and reinforcing steel is in place prior to pouring concrete.
- Plumbing, Mechanical, Gas, and Electric-
- Rough inspection of plumbing, mechanical, gas and electrical systems shall be made prior to covering or concealment, before fixtures or appliances are set or installed, and prior to the framing inspection.
- Framing and Masonry –
- Inspection shall be made after the roof, masonry, framing, firestopping, draftstopping, and bracing are in place and after the plumbing, mechanical, and electrical rough inspections have been approved.
- Fire resistance construction –
- When fire resistance rated construction is required between dwelling units or due to the location on the property an inspection is required of such construction after lathing or gypsum panel products are in place, but before any plaster is applied, or before board or panel joints are fasteners are taped and finished.
- Final Inspection
- Finial inspections shall be made after the permitted work has been completed and prior to occupancy.
