A new exhibit opens today at the High Plains Museum: Vincent van Gogh, a traveling exhibit from Teacher’s Discovery. The exhibit features large reproductions of a selection of Vincent van Gogh’s more popular works including “Starry Night”, “Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear and Pipe”, “Yellow Wheat and Cypresses”, “Café Terrace at Night” and “Trees in the Garden of Saint-Paul Hospital”. Accompanying the exhibit are Van Gogh activities and Ipad tours of Van Gogh’s art works.
The exhibit will be open to the public from October 31 through December 16. Check in on the event calender for related activities at the museum. Families are encouraged to stop by the museum during Goodland’s First Saturday, November 5, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, to paint your own version of “Three Sunflowers in a Vase” on a t-shirt.
