Come by this Saturday, June 1st, for the Space Walk Program! The Space Walk Program is a come and go event from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the High Plains Museum. This month we will be learning about our solar system and making planet mobiles! Learn about the planets, their sizes and what God or Goddess the planet is named for. While you’re at the museum play our Planet Hopping Game which will take you on an adventure from the planets to the sun!
Currently at the High Plains Museum we have the exhibit Earth From Space. This exhibit is a Smithsonian exhibit that shows Earth through images captured by Landsats. The pictures are truly amazing and you’ll get to see places like Egypt and Europe at night! Also at the museum we have our immersive experience which shows you constellations found in the night sky from Goodland.
Drop by and see us this Saturday for a new perspective on Earth and from 1:00 – 5:00 PM for our Space Walk Program!
