AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TEXT OF CHAPTER 4 SECTION 801 REGARDING THE LOCATION OF FENCES ON PREMISES TO BE NO NEARER THAN 6 FEET TO A CITY CURB, OR CURB LINE.
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has found it is in the best interest of the City of Goodland to amend the text in Chapter 4 Section 801 of the Municipal Code for the City of Goodland, Kansas
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND, KANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Goodland Code Chapter 4 Section 801 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 4-801. – Location on premises.
No person, firm or corporation shall construct a fence within six (6) feet of a city curb, or curbline.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect after its publication in the Goodland Star News.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 2026, by the Governing Body of the City of Goodland, Kansas.
