Mayor Aaron Thompson called the meeting to order with Vice-Mayor J. J. Howard, Commissioner Jason Showalter, Commissioner Ann Myers and Commissioner Brook Redlin responding to roll call.

  1. Compensation Study

The City contracted with Victoria McGrath from McGrath Human Resource Group last year to develop a compensation plan for the City.  Victoria presented results of plan information and the process to come up with a plan for the City.  The Commission and City Manager discussed plan information presented.  Mayor Thompson thanked Victoria for the information.  Kent stated, the League of Kansas Municipalities recently completed a study.  There is bulk of information included in the results.  I have been working to condense information for a comparison to Victoria’s information.    This information will provide insight and support to Victoria’s information.  Bottom line the City needs a plan to follow and a plan that we can support.  No formal action was taken by the City Commission.

ADJOURNMENT WAS HAD ON A MOTION BY Commissioner Redlin seconded by Commissioner Showalter.  Motion carried by unanimous VOTE, meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
