The City of Goodland Parks & Recreation Department employs a full time staff of three persons and many seasonal employees. This Department is responsible for maintaining eight public parks, eight outdoor tennis courts, a public swimming pool, one outdoor basketball court, horseshoe pits, and a sports complex containing four softball fields, baseball field, two concession facilities and a children’s playground area.
