Help the Carnegie Arts Center, the Goodland Public Library, and the High Plains Museum celebrate Goodland this May during the “First Week” events. This series of events will center around a theme of “Flight”. Drop by the Carnegie, Library or the Museum to experience “Flight” and its connection to Goodland.
Schedule of Programs:
- May 3,Thursday, Noon – 1pm: Brown Bag Lunch at the High Plains Museum. Bring your lunch to the museum and enjoy a short program about aviation.
- May 3, Thursday, 6pm: Culinary Arts Lesson at the Carnegie Arts Center. $30 for laughs and tasty shrimp scampi and beef bourguignon lessons.
- May 5, Saturday, 1-5pm: Family Explore at the Carnegie Arts Center, High Plains Museum and Goodland Public Library. Enjoy family oriented activities and crafts.
- May 5, Saturday, 6:30-7:30pm: Bedtime at the High Plains Museum. Enjoy a short story and the first ten children get to participate in a craft.
