Welcome February! This month at the High Plains Museum we will be offering some new activities for the public to enjoy beginning with “First Week” events.
Goodland’s “First Week” is a collaborative effort between the High Plains Museum, Carnegie Arts Center and the Goodland Public Library to offer special cultural activities for all ages during the month’s first week. On Thursday, February 2nd, the High Plains Museum is hosting a Brown Bag Luncheon; bring your lunch to the museum and enjoy a short program on the photography of Bob Regier.
On Saturday, February 4th, visit each institution from 1:00pm to 5:00pm that afternoon for some “Horsin’ Around”. The special programming for February centers on the horse.
On Saturday, February 4th, at 6:30pm come to the Museum for “Bedtime at the Museum”. Bring your youngsters to enjoy a story and then make a simple craft. Bring along your pillow and wear your P.J.’s if you like!
