The City of Goodland is once again ready to help residents clean up their properties with Spring Clean Up! Please remember that it takes all of us to keep our community tidy and every resident is responsible to care for their individual properties. Fees will be waived at the Sherman County Landfill for ALL county residents to take their own items to the landfill, as well.
**Fees will NOT be waived for items such as tires, paint, and household hazardous waste.
Pick up will begin at 7am on Thursday, May 4th beginning at 17th and Cattletrail, working north and east.
Residents may place any unwanted items TO THE CURB of their front yards by Thursday morning. Please do not obstruct alleyways. City Crews will pick up any discarded items only on May 4th and 5th, with one pass
being made, so please place all items to the curb by Wednesday, May 3rd.
NO materials may be placed to the curb BEFORE Friday, April 28th.
***The following items will NOT be permitted:
Tires, Grass, Garden Waste, Paint, Household Hazardous Waste
*Trees limbs need to be cut to 4 foot length.
*Any trash that can be taken to a dumpster should NOT be taken to the curb; for example, garden hoses or small plastic toys, etc.
*No items should be placed in alleys, as items will only be picked up at the curbs.
*Any appliances with refrigerant must be tagged that it has been removed.
