ORDINANCE NO. 1639

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF AN LED DISPLAY SIGN ON CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN THE CITY OF GOODLAND. KANSAS. UNDER THE AUTHORITY GRANTED BY THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND. KANSAS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND, KANSAS.

SECTION 1. That having received a recommendation from the Planning Commission, and proper notice having been given and hearing held as provided by law and under the authority of and subject to the provisions of the City of Goodland Zoning Regulations a Conditional Use Permit for the operation of –

An LED sign is hereby approved subject to the following conditions:

The sign will be shut down from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. every night.

SECTION 2. That this conditional use permit shall be valid for property legally described as follows:

          CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE NO. 2012-002

Block 68, Lot 20-24 in the Original town of Goodland, Sherman County, Kansas. Also, known as 1116 Sherman Ave.

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption by the City Commission and publication in the official city newspaper.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Governing Body of the City of Goodland, Kansas this 7th day of January 2013.
