As a reminder, during blizzard conditions and chances for heavy snow, please avoid parking on primary and secondary emergency routes so that our Street department can more easily clear the roads. During blizzard events, high drifts can cause some vehicles to be completely covered and our crews can not see the vehicles. This is extra important when there has already been snow on the ground with some melting prior to a blizzard. While pushing snow, the ice chunks on the roads can cause even heavy machinery slide uncontrollably. This includes into vehicles. We appreciate your cooperation.
