GOODLAND CITY COMMISSION
Special Commission Meeting
August 10, 2016 6:00 P.M.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Brian Linin with Vice-Mayor Annette Fairbanks, Commissioner John Garcia, Commissioner Gary Farris and Commissioner Gwen Mai responding to roll call.
Others present are Mary Volk – City Clerk, Gerry Bieker – City Manager, John Deardoff and Don Osenbaugh – Osenbaugh Consulting.
EXECUTIVE SESSIONS
Executive Session – Under authority K.S.A. 75-4319 (b)(1) for a preliminary discussion relating to personnel matters for nonelected personnel – Vice-Mayor Fairbanks made a motion at 6:10 p.m. to recess into executive session under authority of K.S.A. 75-4319 (b)(1) for personnel matters of nonelected personnel not to exceed sixty minutes. I request the Commission, Gerry, Mary, John and Don be present. Commissioner Mai seconded the motion. MOTION carried by a VOTE of 5 to 0. Meeting resumed at 7:10 p.m. Vice-Mayor Fairbanks made a second motion at 7:10 p.m. to recess into executive session under authority of K.S.A. 75-4319 (b)(1) for personnel matters of nonelected personnel not to exceed twenty minutes. I request the Commission, Gerry, Mary, John and Don be present. Commissioner Mai seconded the motion. MOTION carried by a VOTE of 5 to 0. Meeting resumed at 7:30 p.m. Vice-Mayor Fairbanks made a third motion at 7:30 p.m. to recess into executive session under authority of K.S.A. 75-4319 (b)(1) for personnel matters of nonelected personnel not to exceed ten minutes. I request the Commission, Gerry, Mary, John and Don be present. Commissioner Mai seconded the motion. MOTION carried by a VOTE of 5 to 0. Meeting resumed at 7:40 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT WAS HAD ON A MOTION Vice-Mayor Fairbanks seconded by Commissioner Farris. Motion carried by unanimous VOTE, meeting Adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
