Plan & Prepare

Citizens are asked to plan now, before the snow falls, to locate an alternate site to park vehicles off the streets marked as Emergency Snow Routes. By City Ordinance, IF a winter storm traffic emergency is declared and vehicles are not moved, in extreme instances the vehicles could be towed away at the owner’s expense.

To be on the safe side, a general rule of thumb is – when snow begins to accumulate or is expected to be more than 3 to 4 inches- Go ahead and move the vehicles.
