GOODLAND CITY COMMISSION

Special Commission Meeting

September 7, 2021                                                                                                                          4:00 P.M.

Mayor John Garcia called the meeting to order with Commissioner Aaron Thompson, Commissioner J. J. Howard and Commissioner Gary Farris responding to roll call.  Vice-Mayor Jay Dee Brumbaugh was reported absent.

Also present was Cherise Tieben – Interim City Manager. 

Mayor Garcia led Pledge of Allegiance

EXECUTIVE SESSION

1. Executive Session KSA 75-4319 (b) (1) for personnel matters of nonelected personnel – Mayor Garcia made a motion at 4:00 p.m. to recess into executive session under authority of K.S.A.75-4319 (b) (1) for personnel matters for nonelected personnel not to exceed fifty-five minutes.   I request the Commission and candidate for City Manager be present.  Commissioner Howard seconded the motion.  MOTION carried by a VOTE of 4-0.  Vice-Mayor joined meeting at 4:05 p.m.  Meeting resumed at 4:55 p.m. 

ADJOURNMENT WAS HAD ON A MOTION Mayor Garcia seconded by Vice-Mayor Brumbaugh.  Motion carried by unanimous VOTE, meeting Adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
